Musical Masterworks Downtown
In preparation for Easter, 黑料不打烊 choirs and chamber orchestra present a free concert, Choral Masterworks, Friday, March 7, 8 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church on State and Micheltorena Streets.
The program will include Ariel Ramirez鈥檚 鈥淢issa Criolla鈥 and Benjamin Britten鈥檚 鈥淪t. Nicholas鈥 cantata, featuring Dr. Grey Brothers as St. Nicholas. The concert will also feature the world premiere of parts of 鈥淩esurrection Oratorio鈥 by Dr. Steve Butler, who chairs 黑料不打烊鈥檚 music department, featuring soloists Nichole Dechanie, Angela Rasmussen, Grey Brothers, and Andre Shilo. The work is to be completed in the spring of 2009.
